I just recieved a call from my dentist saying they have two boxes of sample toothpaste packets he can give me. I'm so excited to teach a charla on dental hygiene.

Today while I was at the dentist office I mentioned to Dr. Fischer that I was going to Ecuador with AMIGOS and I told him I would be teaching a week of classes on dental hygiene. He was so glad to hear I was volunteering another summer and he gave me 72 toothbrushes.
My name is Angela Maloney and I am currently a junior at Ledyard High School. This summer I am planning to spend six weeks in rural Paraguay. I will be living with a local family taking part in community service projects to prevent deforestation and building fuel efficient stoves. As well as facilitating educational activities with youth counterparts on nutrition. I am responsible for raising $4,400 to cover the cost of the projects in which I will participate.
